SMART LINE 2026: TWO NEW CAMERAS FOR VERY DIFFERENT JOBS

Our revised product overview "SMART Line 2026" by GRUNDIG Security brings a number of new cameras to the range, and this second issue of our newsletter series puts two of them in the spotlight. The GU-CI-AT8634E brings the full SMART-PRO analytics package to a turret design, while the GU-CI-AC5612M from the SMART-PLUS line shows how much video security fits into just a few centimetres.

SMART-PRO: GU-CI-AT8634E

8 MP Turret IP Camera 2.8~12mm

The GU-CI-AT8634E adds a turret model to the SMART-PRO line, with the same advanced analytics as our SMART-PRO bullet cameras. Its motorised 2.8~12 mm autofocus lens and 1/1.8" sensor deliver detailed 4K images even in extremely low light, supported by IR illumination and white light LEDs. Thanks to the 3-axis mount, the camera can be aligned quickly and precisely on walls and ceilings alike.

Highlights:

  • Fall detection: automatically detects people who have fallen and triggers an alarm, without any wearable devices
  • In-pick search: find a specific person quickly across recorded footage
  • Face detection with watchlist matching: faces are detected in real time and instantly compared against a watchlist
  • Licence plate recognition: actions can be triggered via allow and block lists (SD card required)
  • Visual and sound alarm: built-in light and speaker deter intruders before they act, with white or red-blue light options depending on the scenario
  • IP67 and NEMA 4X rated, 5-year warranty

SMART-PLUS: GU-CI-AC5612M

5 MP Mini IP Camera 2.0mm

At just 38 x 38 x 20 mm, the GU-CI-AC5612M with 2 mm lens is made for places where a standard camera would be too big or too conspicuous: self-service terminals, ATMs, vending machines, checkouts or display cases. 120 dB WDR keeps the image balanced even against bright backlight, for example at entrances or shop windows.

Despite its compact size, the camera offers the familiar SMART Line AI functions. You choose the analysis that fits the task. The camera is powered via 12 VDC or PoE and consumes a maximum of just 3.2 W.
